Back in the day before a show, what was your beverage of choice?

Schaefer cans - $4.99 a case. In fact if you obtained a schaefer can from a dude with a small pick-up at a foxboro show by donating a dollar (or 6 for 5 dollar donation) that was me. It was a Sunday and the schaefer's were from Long Island and ice cold.

Hey, seriously, while pub crawling in London and Dublin, was told this was NOT the beer (Stella) of any locals..."piss water" as more than one pub owner told me...

I know nothing about such matters, and drink primarily guiness by heritage and choice, but do you offer a trend countering perspective?

Hmmm, also realize that's three posts of yours in a row--we must have something in common besides beer...

Actually I was thinking (Stella) Blue. Just me being a smartass again. I'd go for a well kept cask ale, such as London Pride, Youngs Special or Adnams Broadside. I love finding new beers to try.

Er, nevermind...isn't there some (as the locals termed it) "new age" rage euro beer known as "Stella Artois"? That's the Stella I thought you meant.

We know return to more intelligent programing...

Coming Down from Toronto, we would always bring down a couple cases of Canadian brew. I remember in the summer of 91, we were all into home brewing and arrived at Buckeye Lake with twenty+ 2L coke bottles of the stuff. I recall giving a bottle or two to the security guys who ended up passing a them around in the lot.
